KHOTANG, Oct 5: A 45-year-old auto-rickshaw driver, found unconscious in his own vehicle in Diktel Bazaar, died during treatment on Saturday.
According to District Police Office Khotang, the deceased has been identified as Jit Bahadur Rai of Buvasung, Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality-8. He was discovered around 3 PM inside his rickshaw (Ba. 1–02–004 H 6682) at Ratnapark, Diktel.

Locals noticed him unconscious and, with police assistance, rushed him to the District Hospital, Diktel. However, he was pronounced dead shortly after treatment began.
Police said the body has been kept at the hospital for postmortem, and investigations are underway to determine the cause of the incident.
