UDAYAPUR, Oct 4: The COVID-19 Hospital at Satdhare Beltar of Chaudandigadhi Municipality-6 of Udayapur district has been cleared of coronavirus patients for the first time this year. According to Tej Bahadur Pokharel, focal person of the hospital, the hospital, which was always full of COVID-19 patients since the onset of the second wave of infection, has been empty since Sunday.

UDAYAPUR, Sept 28: Police on Monday arrested a teenager from Udayapur on rape charges. Tek Bahadur Bhujel, 19, from Katari Municipality-5 was apprehended after the family of the victim filed a case against him, according to Area Police Office, Katari. The girl was raped by the accused after forcibly entering her room at 1PM on Sunday.
UDAYAPUR, Dec 19: The death toll has climbed to four in the jeep accident in Udayapur. Of them, three died on the spot while one breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Katari Hospital at around 11 am on Thursday.
