Asian junior ranking tennis from Sept 5

REPUBLICA, Sept 1: All Nepal Lawn Tennis Association (ANLTA) is set to organize Asian Junior Ranking Tour (circuit 1 and 2) tennis tournament at the Satdobato tennis court from September 5.

It will be the first occasion, that Nepal will host players from outside the country. Altogether 64 players - 32 boys and girls each -- from host Nepal, India, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka will compete in the event. The circuit 1 of the tour will be held from September 5 to 9 while the matches of circuit 2 will be held from September 12 to 16.

Out of six courts at Satdobato, four will be used for the tournament and rest two will be used for practice. Asian Tennis Federation's white badge technician Prabin Kumar Nayak is in Nepal to run the tournament. According to the organizer, the total budget of the tournament is Rs 1.5 million.
