KATHMANDU, May 6: Police has confirmed that the unidentified object, defused by the Nepalese Army, was not IED.
According to DSP Gobinda Kafle of Kathmandu Police Circle, the bag did not have any explosive materials.
Earlier, there has been a report of the socket bomb planted at Koteshwor chowk and it was defused by the Army's bomb disposal squad. The vehicle movement of the area was disturbed for two hours.
