Addressing a Far-Western regional security seminar in Dhangadhi on Monday, Minister Ghimire said that the army is going to be mobilized to maintain peace and to guarantee the fear-free environment for the election.[break]
The government is committed to holding the election to institutionalize the democratic republic, to write new constitution, to maintain political stability, and to guarantee fundamental rights of people, he added.
The Home Minister said that the government expressed deep regrets at the shooting incident on a UML candidate in Bara district and expressed the determination of the government to bringing to book and taking action against criminals involved in such activities. He urged the media persons to focus on the election and write in its support.
