CHITWAN, March 17: A Nepal Army man has died after being drowned in a pond at Daldale in Chitwan district.
Paban Katuwal, 26, of Khotang Rural Municipality-4 in Khotang district, who was posted at Saili Maili Post jumped into a pond in his attempt to escape a rhino attack, resulting in his death, said the district police office.

The incident occurred on Wednesday evening while guarding the Chitwan National Park, said the police.
