According to Bheshraj Gautam, another owner of the resort, the pond belongs to Biswho Prakash Secondary School at Mangalpur and they had signed a contract with the school administration to build the infrastructures for the resort. The resort, spread in two bigaha area, was constructed at the budget of 20 million rupees.

According to Gurung, they also offer their customers the facilities of boating and fishing in the pond. Moreover, the owners are also planning to establish 20-room cottages within one and half year. For now, the resort has two halls that can accommodate 200 people at once. It is apt for organizing gatherings such as marriage parties and seminars, among others, as per Gautam.

The pond can be a destination for bird lovers as it is situated in an area surrounded by the Gyaneshwar Community Forest, Meghauli, Kasara and Bis Hajari pond.

“We decided to incorporate the pond within the resort as an attraction for tourists. It will make the tourists feel that they are surrounded by nature,” added Mohan Raj Thapa, another owner of the resort.
