Thapa was in self-quarantine at his residence
KATHMANDU, Sept 30: The Chief of Staff of Nepal Army Purna Chandra Thapa has tested negative for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
According to the press statement issued by the Public Relation Directorate of Nepal Army, Thapa had undergone Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test and his test results turned out negative.
General Thapa had gone into self- quarantine on Sunday morning after a cook at his official residence tested positive for the COVID-19.
