Army, APF into Super League

KATHMANDU, April 20: Tribhuvan Army Club and Armed Police Force Club (APF) sailed into the Super League of the National Women's League winning their respective matches on Wednesday at the ANFA Complex, Satdobato in Lalitpur. Army recorded a 9-0 win over Western Region and APF thrashed Far-western Region by 14-0 to join the Nepal Police Club that advanced into the Super League on Tuesday. Both the teams collected six points winning two matches in a row.

For the victorious Army, Sharmila Thapa scored four goals, while Dipa Adhikari scored a hat-trick and Sapana Lama added a goal against Western. Likewise, Sabitra Bhandari and Sajana Rana netted four goals each, Anita Basnet hit a hat-trick, Anu Lama scored two goals and Manu Dong added a goal for APF against Far-western.
