KATHMANDU, March 4: Upendra Basyal, 38, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the Armed Police Force (APF), Morang, was found dead in Morang on Monday.
According to the District Police Office SP Nawaraj Karki, DSP Basyal working at the proposed Armed Police Force Border Security Gulm Sorabhag in Dhanpalthan Rural Municipality-3 was found hanging around 2:30 PM on Monday.
According to SP Karki, the deceased was found hanging from a fan in a room in the Gulm's quarters.
According to the police, Basyal was a resident of Palpa and his family lives in Kathmandu.
Now a team including SP Karki is going to the spot. The family of the deceased will be informed about this incident and the police are investigating.
The cause of the incident has not been revealed and police are currently investigating the matter.
A team has been deployed under the leadership of APF SP from Battalion 4 Kankalini, Morang.
