Arghakhanchi witnesses 31 new cases of COVID-19 in a single day

ARGHAKHANCHI, June 8: As many as 31 individuals tested positive for COVID-19 in Arghakhanchi district on Monday.

According to Puspa Thapa, chief health officer, 31 India returnees who were staying in quarantine facilities have tested positive for COVID-19.

The throat swab samples of 29 people of Sandikarkha Municipality and one each from Sita Ganga Municipality and Paneni Rural Municipality tested positive for COVID-19 at the Provincial Public Health Laboratory, Bhairahawa.

With this, the COVID-19 tally in Arghakhanchi district has reached 36 including one death.
