Kathmandu, May 14: An Armed Police Force (APF) team has rescued six persons alive from devastated structures in Dolakha district.

Those rescued alive are Sabita Gurung, 16, two adolescent girls and three boys, reads a press statement issued by APF's Deputy Superintendant of Police Ajaya Chhatkuli on Wednesday.
They were buried when a five-storied building based in Singati Bazaar of Dolakha collapsed during May 12 earthquake measuring 6.8 in Richter scale, the statement added.
All those buried in the house devastated due to earthquake were rescued alive by the APF team. Among those rescued alive, Sabita Gurung was found trapped in the rubble of devastated house. She was rescued alive by the APF team headed by DSP Bishnu Darai. All six were airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment.
Meanwhile, the APF team had recued other five from Singati Bazaar of Dolakha district on Tuesday. It may be noted that some 28 people were rescued alive by a joint team from the same place on Tuesday.
Similarly, the rescue team had identified 61 among those killed in May 12 quake in Doalkha. RSS
