APF, New Diamond maintain winning run

KATHMANDU, Dec 9: Armed Police Force (APF) and New Diamond Academy continued their domination in the Dhorpatan Double League Women's Volleyball Tournament with both the teams remaining unbeaten till the end of Wednesday's matches.

Defending champion APF, which is in the top position in the table with 21 points remaining unbeaten in seven matches, defeated Chandeshwari Youth Club by 25-4, 25-5, 25-12 in its seventh match on Wednesday.Similarly, New Diamond, which remains in the second position with 15 points, recorded 25-2, 25-2, 25-7 win over Shree Janaki School of Chitwan.

In other matches, Dhading Artists Team beat Angel's Heart School by 25-14, 23-25, 27-25, 20-25, 15-8, while Bijeshwari School defeated Bindhyabasini School by 25-18, 23-25, 14-25, 25-15, 15-9.

Meanwhile, the match between Nepal Police Club and Western Region was postponed citing technical problems.
