APF defeated Far-western Region by 20 runs in the men´s semifinal while the women´s team overcame Far-western by four wickets. APF will face Eastern Region in the women´s final and Central Region in the men´s final.[break]
In the first semifinal of men´s T20, APF opted to bat first after winning the toss and scored 149/8. Sharad Vesawkar scored 34 runs off 32 balls. Rajendra Bam took two wickets for Far-western.
In reply, Far-western was restricted to 129 runs in 19.1 overs. Binod Bhandari scored 47 runs off 24 balls while Basanta Regmi took three wickets.
In another semifinal, Central beat Western Region by 27 runs to enter the final. Winning the toss Central scored 121 runs with Binod Das smashing 56 runs off 30 balls. Bivek Chaudhary claimed three wickets for Western.
Naresh Raj Giri´s three-wicket haul then helped Central restrict Western to 94 runs. Fazlur Rehman scored 28 runs off 30 balls.
In the women´s semifinal, Far-western won the toss and scored 87 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Roshani Bohara scored an unbeaten 35 runs off 46 balls. APF successfully chased the target in 18.3 overs losing six wickets.
Eastern Region defeated Central by 40 runs to secure its berth in the final. Winning the toss Eastern opted to bat first and scored 112 runs with 25 runs from Anuradha Chaudhary. Central could score only 72 runs in 20 overs losing seven wickets. Kabita Gautam took three wickets for Eastern.
