APF Inspector succumbs to COVID-19

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Armed Police Force (APF) Inspector Nabin Budhathoki who was serving in Morang district has succumbed to COVID-19.

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Armed Police Force (APF) Inspector Nabin Budhathoki who was serving in Morang district has succumbed to COVID-19.


According to APF Spokesperson DIG Raju Aryal, Inspector Budhathoki was admitted to a hospital after he suffered from typhoid and breathing complications on November 12. He subsequently tested positive for COVID-19.

Budhathoki breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Birat Medical College in Biratnagar on Monday evening.


APF Spokesperson Aryal said Inspector Budhathoki was undergoing treatment with ventilator support. Family sources said he did not have other health complications before.


Late Budhathoki is a permanent resident of Myanglung Municipality-1 in Terhathum. He joined APF as an inspector some 10 years ago.
