KATHMANDU, May 2: Authorities found another Nepali student, Prisa Sah, dead at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in India. After receiving reports of her death, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched diplomatic efforts to investigate the incident.
Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba said she had already initiated diplomatic efforts through the Government of India, senior officials of the Odisha government, and the Nepali Embassy in Delhi to ensure a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Another Nepali student found dead at KIIT in Odisha

Authorities found Prisa Sah, a Nepali student from Birgunj, dead on Thursday evening, hanging from a ceiling fan in her hostel room. She was a first-year B.Tech Science student at the university.
They have informed Prisa's parents, who are traveling from Birgunj to Bhubaneswar today. Officials will conduct the post-mortem after their arrival.
Earlier, on February 16, authorities had discovered the body of 20-year-old Nepali student Prakriti Lamsal in her hostel room at the same university.
