ANNISU-R padlocks TU

KIRTIPUR, June 30: ANNISU (Revolutionary), TU Committee has padlocked the offices of the Tribhuvan University, Dean and Central Department of English citing the reason of new curriculum of English in Masters first year.



The Committee padlocked the offices charging them of imposing profit-making curriculum used in the Pokhara University. It also decried the appointment of Dr Amar Raj Joshi as the department head by the TU Executive Committee, according to a press release issued by the Committee Chairman Jekendra Shrestha.



TU is demanded to make the English curriculum suitable for the Nepali context, and revoke Dr Joshi´s appointment soon.
