ANNFSU's campaign against Maoists

ILAM, Jan 15: The CPN-UML-affiliated All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) has launched an exposure campaign against “anarchic activities” of the UCPN (Maoist) in Ilam.



The ANNFSU has accused the Maoist-affiliated All Nepal National Independent Student Union-Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) and the party´s militant youth wing, Young Communist League (YCL) of trying to overshadow the major agenda facing the country by repeatedly attacking against the UML cadres and students.



“The anarchic activities of the Maoists have put the major agenda of constitution drafting, peace process and army integration in the backburner,” said ANNFSU President Nawaraj Shankar while announcing the campaign.



Besides, the ANNFSU also decided to launch 45-day long students´ awareness campaign to exert pressure on the political parties to draft the new constitution on time.
