KATHMANDU, Dec 9: The Nepal Red Cross Society, Parsa branch, is going to conduct a vaccination campaign to achieve 100 percent vaccination against Covid-19. Still, people in the rural areas of the district are yet to be vaccinated against Covid-19, so the vaccination campaign is about to be conducted.
The Chairman of Nepal Red Cross Society, Parsa, Birendraraj Kandel, said that the vaccination campaign against Covid-19 is going to be conducted to make vaccination accessible to all citizens. Pakhamainpur Rural Municipality and Bindabasini Rural Municipality are left to be vaccinated in Parsa .
Ajay Yadav, program coordinator of Nepal Red Cross Society, Parsa, said that it is planned to carry out public awareness work in Pakhamainpur and Bindabasini Rural Municipality of Parsa as well as conduct campaigns in schools.

In Bindabasini Rural Municipality, 12,891 people aged 5 to 11 years, 464 people aged 12 to 17 years, and 12,351 people above 18 years of age have been vaccinated.
On the other hand, 3,726 people aged 5 to 11 years, 2,854 people aged 12 to 17 years and 6,948 people above 18 years are yet to be vaccinated.
Similarly, 13,476 people aged 5 to 11 years, 2,822 people aged 12 to 17 years and 10,777 people above 18 years of age have been vaccinated in Pakahamainpur Rural Municipality. But 5,778 people between 5 and 11 years old, 743 people between 12 and 17 years old and 5,652 people above 18 years old are yet to be vaccinated.
According to the Nepal Red Cross Society, Parsa, it was found during the survey that some people even do not have vaccination cards.
