KATHMANDU, Dec 2: All Nepal National Free Students Union, close to opposition party CPN (UML), has demonstrated against the recently registered constitution amendment bill which has the provision of changing the province borders among other serious issues as well.
They have urged the government to withdraw the bill saying that the bill is against the national sovereignty and public interest.
The union has protested and called the transport strike in front of almost all government campuses across the country, said ANNFSU secretary RC Lamichhane.
It is learnt the different political parties, organizations and public have continued the agitation programmes against the amendment bill particularly in Province No 5 for few days.
The proposal has the provision of changing the borders of Province No 5. RSS
