KC, who was Humagain´s assistant, was announced as the team´s head coach during the club´s tea reception on the occasion of Dashain on Friday. Three Star President Lalit Krishna Shrestha introduced KC as the team´s head coach on the occasion.
KC will take charge of the team during the Safal Pokhara Cup that begins in Kaski next week.
"As I have been the coach of Three Star for the past one year I don´t feel much difference. But now I have assumed total responsibility as the coach of the league champion at a young age and I feel happy," said the 27-year-old, adding that he has taken it as an opportunity as well as a challenge.
"Three Star has always been a strong team and if we have good coordination in the coming days we can achieve success," said KC, who guided Three Star to the King´s Cup semifinals in Bhutan a few months ago.
