Twenty-year-old Anish from Nuwakot and 18-year-old Monalisa from Gaighat served best among 24 male and 24 female candidates to secure the winning titles. Both winners bagged cash prize of Rs 50,000 each, combined with the opportunity to be featured in a music video and a film.Along with the winning title, Anish was also endowed with the 'Photogenic' title and Monalisa, with the 'Most Stylist' and 'Model During Training Session.'
In the male category, Prashant Limbu and Aashish Ansari were declared first and second runners-up respectively while in the female category, Srijana Tamata and Kriti Kharel were announced first and second runners-up respectively.
The panel of judges comprised of actors Resh Marhatta, Poojana Pradhan, Arjun Karki, Janawi KC; Mr Nepal 2011, Ayushman Ghimire; producer/director Anil Sangroula; and social worker Mohan Basnet, among others.
Chandani Lamichhane, chairperson of Runway Nepal, the organizer of the event, said, "Runway Model 2015 has been organized with the intention of polishing male and female models of Nepal and taking Nepali modeling profession to a new height. We also wanted to provide the right platform to those in search of opportunities."
