KATHMANDU, March 31: As the government on Sunday announced to provide relief package to the daily bread earners through the local levels, people have flocked to the ward offices on Tuesday.
When our photojournalist reached the ward office of Kathmandu-7, the office was overcrowded after the people lined up in order to fill the forms to claim relief packages. The people did not care about the government's appeal to maintain the social distancing while queuing up at the ward office.
It seemed that the local administration did not forsee the number of people it would receive today.
