KATHMANDU, April 27: It has already been 34 days since Nepal went into a nationwide lockdown from March 24. The restriction order has been imposed in a bid to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus disease in the country.

Halting all normal operations, the lockdown has hit every walk of life hard.  Very few emergency vehicles ply the roads. The movement of people has been restricted and businesses remain shut.

Kathmandu continued to wear a deserted look on Monday as well. Here are some photos taken by our photojournalist Dipesh Shrestha at different parts of the Valley on Monday.
