KATHMANDU, July 10: Chairman of the CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli, has stated that the allocation of ministries has not been finalized yet.

Oli clarified that there has been no agreement on the sharing of ministries between the Nepali Congress (NC) and the UML, and that the allocation will be determined based on the parties that will participate in the government.

In a secretariat meeting held on Wednesday, Oli mentioned that the NC and the UML will receive ministries on an equal basis. He added that discussions are ongoing to include other political parties in the NC-UML government to be formed.

"The allocation of ministries has not yet been finalized. The decision on which parties will be included in the government is based on their own standing. The NC and the UML usually deal with each other on equal terms. Typically, parties are assigned positions based on their strength, and we are also paying attention to that," said Oli.
