BIRATNAGAR, August 2: The distribution of ministries among the ruling alliance in Koshi Province has been finalized after the negotiations among the coalition parties. The three parties in the ruling coalition in Koshi Province have agreed to send one minister each to the government.
Chief Minister (CM) Uddhav Thapa, who was appointed on Tuesday, will take oath at 5PM on Wednesday. Along with him, Baburam Gautam of CPN (Maoist Center), Kamal Prasad Jabegu from CPN (Unified Socialist) and Pradeep Sunuwar from Nepali Congress have agreed to take the oath of office and secrecy.

Leader of the Maoist Center Parliamentary Party in the province, Indra Bahadur Angbo said that it was agreed to give the responsibility of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning to Gautam who resigned from the post of Speaker of the province on Tuesday, the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure to Jabegu and the Ministry of Tourism to Sunuwar.
In the first phase, four people including the CM will take the oath of office and secrecy and the government will be expanded after taking the vote of confidence.
