KATHMANDU, Feb 2: An all-party meeting held at Singha Durbar on Thursday to discuss the peace and constitution drafting processes has concluded inconclusively.

According to Eknath Dhakal of Nepal Pariwar Dal, UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal in the meeting proposed agenda to discuss the formation of a national consensus government and ways to move ahead the peace process and constitution drafting task. [break]

Emerging from the meeting, Nepali Congress (NC) Parliamentary Party leader Ram Chandra Paudel said that national consensus government is not NC’s priority at the moment.

“Dahal set forth his proposal but our priority is the peace and constitution drafting processes,” Paudel said while talking to media persons after the meeting.

The next meeting has been scheduled for Saturday.
