All-party meet begins at Sheetal Niwas

KATHMANDU, Sept 13: : An all-party meeting, called by President Dr Ram Baran Yadav, has begun at Presidential Office in Sheetal Niwas, Marajgunj, on Friday afternoon. The CPN- Maoist is also taking part in the meeting, a source privy to the meeting told Republica on telephone.



Earlier, President Yadav had called all the major political parties, including the agitating 33-party alliance led by CPN-Maoist, for a meeting in response to the request made by Chairman of Interim Election Council Khil Raj Regmi to ask all political parties to support the fresh Constituent Assembly (CA) polls. The CPN-Maoist led 33-party alliance had submitted a memorandum to President Ram Baran Yadav, requesting him to take the initiative to hold a roundtable for finding a solution to the current political crisis.
