All five deceased in Narayanghat-Mugling road accident identified

BHARATPUR, Nov 9: All five individuals who died in a road accident at Satra Kilo in Mugling-Narayanghat road section have been identified. 


On Friday at 3 AM, an electric Hiace van (Ba Pra 06–001 Ja 0298) en route to Narayanghat from Mugling collided with a bus (Ba Pra 03–001 Kha 2812) heading in the opposite direction, resulting in five deaths.

The deceased have been identified as Raj Bahadur Gurung, 42, from Manbu, Aarughat Rural Municipality–1, Gorkha; Anoj Adhikari, 40, a microbus driver from Khairahani Municipality–4, Chitwan; Santosh Bhusal, 35, and Sabina Bhusal, 33, both from Bagaincha,  Binayi Tribeni Rural Municipality–4, Nawalparasi; and Raj Kumar Sah, 36, originally from India, who owned a shop in Pokhara.


According to DSP Bhesh Raj Rijal, spokesperson for the Chitwan District Police, all deceased were passengers in the microbus.


DSP Rijal stated that one person is in critical condition and receiving treatment at the College of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital in Bharatpur. Four others, who were injured, have been discharged after their treatment.
