KATHMANDU, July 21: Ward Chairpersons of all 32 wards of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) have protested against the expansion of footpaths in the New Road area. 

Ward chairs of all 32 wards protested as the KMC commenced work to expand the pavement in the New Road area. 

Three dozers deployed for the construction have returned from New Road after three days. 

Earlier, the ward chair of Ward No 22 was protesting against the expansion of pavement along with the locals and local businessmen.
