MORANG, July 23: Political parties have reached an agreement to name Province 1 through the current session of the Province Assembly.

They forged the consensus in an all-party meeting organized in Biratnagar on Friday by the Provincial Assembly Speaker Pradip Kumar Bhandari. Talking to media-persons after the meeting, Speaker Bhandari confirmed the agreement reached among leaders from various political parties.
The parties concluded that continuous talks on the matter should take place before tabling it in the Province Assembly, said Chief Minister Rajendra Rai.
