During the talk, critics precisely delivered speech on the positive as well as negative aspects of the novel.
Amar Giri, Chairman of the Progressive Writers´ Association, was of the view that the novel carried out real picture of a decade-long war. "The novel vividly portrays the decade-long war that claimed around 14,000 lives," he added.
Addressing the talk program, literature analyst and professor at the Tribhuvan University, Ram Prasad Bhattarai remarked that the novel gives a good portrait of the war-era.
