By No Author
NEPALGUNJ, June 5: The agitating former Kamlaris enforced a general strike in 22 districts across the Tarai for the second consecutive day on Wednesday. They vandalized over half a dozen vehicles for defying their strike in Nepalgunj. The protestors had gathered at Dhambosi Chowk of Nepalgunj to stage demonstrations.

The police arrested two protestors for vandalizing private vehicles. “We were forced to vandalize the vehicles as they defied our general strike,” said Dil Kumari Chaudhary, president of Mukta Kamalari Bikash Manch, Banke. Though the strike had been announced in all the 22 districts of the Tarai, only the far-west and mid-west regions have been affected by the shut down. All the educational institutions, markets and industries remained closed on Wednesday.
