KATHMANDU, June 1: Advertising Association of Nepal (AAN) has urged government to seek alternative to lockdown.
In a press statement, the AAN suggested to the govenrment to enforce measures to reopen schools, industries and mass media gradually.
"As a result of the nationwide lockdown enforced to curb the novel coronavirus since March 24, people from various walks of the life have been adversely affected. Thereforce, the government should make serious efforts to gradually reopen schools, industries and mass media. Otherwise, the country will bear huge economic crisis in the days to come," read the press statement.
The organization also said that the government should keep in mind the people's health security at this hour of crisis. The AAN stressed the need to further expand the scope of COVID-19 across the country.
