KATHMANDU, Sept 25: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has directed the secretaries from all ministries to act responsibly by respecting the spirit of change.

PM Dahal made such direction to the senior bureaucrats during a meeting called to garner information about the activities carried out on the issues he presented while addressing the Legislature-Parliament on September 8.

The secretaries were asked to be updated on the progress of policy and programs and expedite the activities accordingly, said Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara.

In the meeting, the Finance Ministry informed PM Dahal about the budget required for the implementation of the activities he talked in the parliament.

Similarly, Secretary of the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA), Madhusudhan Adhikari, said PM Dahal expressed concern why the activities by the NRA were not up to the mark.

The PM, during the meeting, warned the secretaries that he would hold the meetings and conduct monitoring at any time on how the activities were being conducted. RSS
