NC’s Acharya takes a lead in Rasuwa

RASUWA, Nov 22: Nepali Congress (NC) candidate is leading in the ongoing vote count in the elections held for the post of member of the House of Representatives in Rasuwa. According to the results of vote counting as of 5 am, out of 5,722 votes counted, Mohan Acharya of NC has received 3,350 votes.

RASUWA, Nov 22: Nepali Congress (NC) candidate is leading in the ongoing vote count in the elections held for the post of member of the House of Representatives in Rasuwa. According to the results of vote counting as of 5 am, out of 5,722 votes counted, Mohan Acharya of NC has received 3,350 votes.


His nearest rival Tshewang Tamang of CPN-UML has received 2,140 votes. Altogether 151 votes were declared invalid.


Similarly, Prabhat Lama of NC has got 1033 votes while Kul Prasad Bhatt of UML got 943 votes out of the total 2057 votes counted in Provincial Assembly 'A' seat.
