Nepal had set a 251-run target against Kuwait in its fourth match. Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Nepali team managed to score 250 runs in allotted 50 overs , losing eight wickets.
Despite a slow start, the match went in the favor of Nepali team, leading to good scores for the team with tail-enders Saurav Khanal (73) and Dipendra Singh Airee (85) contributing for Nepal. The duo shared 130-run partnership for seventh wicket.
Dipendra's 91-ball inning included nine fours and two sixes while Khanal smashed five fours and one six off 115 balls.
Likewise, other players Prem Tamang made unbeaten 23 runs and captain Raju Rijal contributed 15 runs with one four.
Mohammad Fouzi took highest three wickets for Kuwait giving away 34 runs with one maiden, Shahrukh Quddus grabbed two wickets conceding 39 runs while Arsh Barkat Ali and Abdul Tufail snatched one wicket each.
Chasing the 251-run target, Kuwait managed 167 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 50 over.
