Academic institutions remain closed in Jhapa

BHADRAPUR, April 28: Academic institutions in Jhapa remained closed Tuesday due to an indefinite educational strike called by Limbuwan Students´ Council in nine districts east of Arun River.



The Council has demanded that student Manil Tamang killed in police firing near Dhulabari Campus during the Free Students´ Union poll be declared a martyr, proper compensation to the deceased´s family and free treatment facility to other injured.
