KATHMANDU, April 5: Tribhuvan Army Club's Megha Chand, Anu Maya Rai and Sunaina Mukhiya and Banke's Samjhana Sharma entered the women's singles quarterfinal of the Krishna Mohan Memorial Open Badminton Tournament on Tuesday.

Megha beat Sita Rai of Sunsari 21-15, 21-19, while Anu Maya defeated Nita Lamsal of Morang 21-19, 21-17 and Samjhana recorded 21-15, 21-14 win over Sima Rajbanshi of Morang during the matches held at the APF headquarters in Halchowk while Sunaina received walk-over from Durga Sharma of Kailali.
In men's singles matches, Army's Dipesh Dhami and Nabin Shrestha and APF's Bikash Shrestha and Indra Mehta won their respective matches.
