KATHMANDU, May 17: Nepal reported three new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday evening, taking the national tally to 295.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, swab samples of a 34-year-old woman from Dhankuta, a 29-year-old woman and a 36-year-old male from Biratnagar, Morang, tested positive for this virus during a lab test conducted at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Science earlier today.
Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari, joint spokesperson for the health ministry informed Republica Online that they all are normal.
Of the total confirmed cases so far, 36 have recovered while two have died of this disease as of Sunday evening.
