KATHMANDU, Sept 7: A nine-year-old boy Mandish Ghimire from Goldhunga has been found murdered.
The dead body of Ghimire, who went missing since Friday, was found near a view tower in Tarkeshwor-8 on Sunday evening with his hands, legs and mouth tied.

Locals had informed the police after finding the dead boy in a maize field. Police reached the incident site on Monday and sent the body for postmortem.
Search for Ghimire, who went out from his maternal uncle’s house for the view tower, had intensified after he didn’t return till late.
His father is currently in Malaysia for foreign employment, while his mother lives in Balaju in the capital.
His mother Bhagwati told Myrepublica that she didn’t receive any threats for abduction.
Police are yet to find the motive behind the killing.
“Preliminarily investigation points that the boy was murdered due to familial reasons,” said SP Bishwo Raj Pokharel at Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, “We are investigating into the case and the mystery will unfold soon.”
