JANAKPURDHAM, June 7: The body of a child has been found on the border of Dhanusha-Mahottari. According to Pradip Bahadur Chhetri, spokesperson for Dhanusha District Police Office, the body of a 6-year-old boy was found in a ditch near Dudhmati River at Basbitti of Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City-22 and Pipara Rural Municipality-6 of Mahottari on Monday evening.
According to the police, the body of Rocky Barahi, 6, son of Jiyasaran Barahi, who was living in a tent at Sarlahi Kabilasi-7, Janakpurdham Sub-metropolis-8, has been found. The boy had gone missing a week ago.

Sub Inspector of Police Pradip Bahadur Chhetri said that the locals informed the police after seeing the body of a child in the ditch. He said, "As soon as we got the information, the police team reached the spot. We did not pick up the body as it was late last night.”
It is suspected that the child may have been killed by someone. The body has been sent for a postmortem to Janakpur Provincial Hospital. Police said that they have launched a special investigation into the incident.
