Parimaya Rai of Rajapani VDC-7 in Khotang district was convicted of murder of Nabaraj Rayamajhi from Anptar VDC-9 in Udayapur district. The District Court had slapped 10 years in imprisonment to Parimaya on the murder charge.
A gang of five including Nir Bahadur Rai, Parimaya Rai and others of Rajapani VDC-7 had murdered Rayamajhi in an attack on September 18, 2002. A team of Sub-Inspector of Nepal Police Dipendra Kumar Chaudhary nabbed the woman from her residence recently. RSS
