Bhaktapur secures top position in SLC results

BHAKTAPUR, June 23: Bhaktapur district has secured the topmost position across the country in view of producing good results in the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) exams - 2071 BS. The results were published last Friday.

The district obtained 87.74 pass results in the SLC examinations held in March.Similarly, Mustang secured 87.57 per cent pass, Lalitpur 86.32 per cent and Kathmandu 85.90 per cent, Controller of Examinations Bishnu Bahadur Dware said.

A total of 221 schools across the country witnessed nil results. Most of the students have failed in mathematics. Over seventy thousand students have failed mathematics.

Students failing up two subjects are allowed to sit for chance exams which are starting from August 5. RSS
