KATHMANDU, Oct 8: As many as 78,000 foreign tourists entered Nepal during September this year. According to the data unveiled by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) on Tuesday, a total of 78,711 tourists visited Nepal in this period.
The flow of tourists during the tourism season has decreased, based on the recent data. In September 2024, the number of tourist arrivals in Nepal was 96,302, reflecting an 18.3 percent decline compared to September of the previous year..According to the NTB's data, the number of tourist arrivals was 15,556 from India, 5,237 from China, 9,679 from the United States, 3,015 from Sri Lanka, and 2,230 from Bangladesh, among others.
