Police said that 1,713 deaths were recorded in the Kathmandu Valley while 53 in the Eastern Region, 6,253 in Mid-Region, 447 in Mid-Western Region, 22 in Western Region and two people were killed in Far-Western Region due to April 25 great earthquake.
Similarly,12 deaths were recorded in the Kathmandu Valley, four in Eastern Region, 139 in Mid-Region and 3 in Western Region in the May 12 aftershock, according to police.
Likewise, 1 926 were injured in the Kathmandu Valley, 125 in the Eastern Region, 1048 in the Mid-region and 132 in Western Region and 14 have been injured in the Mid-Western Region. Police also informed that four people are still missing in the May 12 quake.
Similarly, police said that a total of 14,544 physical infrastructures have sustained damages due to the quake. Of them, 6, 012 suffered complete damages while 8 512 sustained partial damage.
