APF team rescues woman in 10 minutes of house collapse

KATHMANDU, May 2: A woman has been rescued alive within 10 minutes that she was buried in a house collapse at Sankhu today.

Maya Bista, 45, of Shankharapur Municipality-11 was buried in the debris as her already-damaged house flattened while he was entering it at 8:00 am.


The Armed Police Force's Search and Rescue Team rescued her alive, said a local Pavan Lal Shrestha.

Bista who got injuries in different parts of her body has been undergoing treatment at a Malaysian health camp. RSS
