KATHMANDU, Jan 5: Police arrested a father on the charge of killing his own son in Sindhuli district on Saturday night.
Police said that the arrested person has been identified as 76-year-old Doman Singh Sarki of Hariharpurgadhi Rural Municipality. He is accused of killing his own son Lila Bahadur, 49.

Lila Bahadur was seriously injured when Doman Singh hit him with a rod during a domestic dispute. As per the District Police Office, Sindhuli, Doman SIngh had sustained injuries on his neck.
Lila died while undergoing treatment at Hetauda Hospital. Following that, police arrested the father and started an investigation into the murder.
