Thapa warns of grave consequences if current deadlock not settled

SIRAHA, March 19: Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) Kamal Thapa said the nation would have to face the huge political setback the major political parties did not become serious regarding the current political impasse.

The political situation would go out of the control of the political parties if it was not settled in time.Speaking at a program organized by Siraha chapter of the RPP-N in Lahan, Thursday, he stressed on the need of holding all-party-meeting of the political parties participating in the Constituent Assembly (CA).

Chairman Thapa said, "The all-party-meeting should make new schedule for constitution writing process and decide for procedure to settle the disputed issues appeared during the constitution writing process."

He said federalism was not the need of the country rather development was the need of the country.
