KATHMANDU, Oct 14: Various ministries are to be given different responsibilities to make the Indian President's upcoming Nepal visit successful.
A meeting among the bodies concerned that took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Friday decided to hand over the responsibility of making security arrangements to the Home Ministry while the Ministry of Information and Communications will be responsible for ensuring effective communications network during the high-level visit from the southern neighbour. The Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development will be responsible for keeping the cities decorated, neat and clean.
President of India Pranab Mukherjee is scheduled to visit Nepal on coming November 2-4.
The Indian President has been scheduled to visit to Pokhara and Janakpur besides the capital city. The meeting was attended by secretaries of the various ministries and chiefs of security bodies, among others. RSS
